Discover Koshi - Korean Food

Koshi - Korean Food offers a delightful culinary experience right in the heart of Columbus, OH. Located at 875 Bethel Rd Unit 8, this cozy diner stands as a go-to spot for anyone craving authentic Korean cuisine with a modern twist. Whether you're a long-time fan of Korean dishes or a newcomer to the flavors of Korea, Koshi promises a memorable dining experience with every visit.

What makes Koshi - Korean Food special is its diverse menu, offering a variety of dishes that cater to both seasoned Korean food enthusiasts and those eager to try something new. From sizzling hot BBQ plates to comforting bowls of bibimbap, each dish is crafted with care and attention to detail. The restaurant’s menu isn't just about delivering traditional flavors but elevating them with fresh, locally sourced ingredients. It’s a place where you can enjoy the bold, savory flavors of Korean cooking while feeling like you're in a homey and welcoming environment.

Take the Korean BBQ, for example. The meat is expertly marinated, grilled right at your table, and served with a variety of dipping sauces and side dishes. The interactive nature of this dining experience brings a sense of excitement and authenticity. And if you’ve ever had the pleasure of enjoying a banchan spread-those little side dishes that accompany most Korean meals-you know that Koshi does not disappoint. Expect a perfect mix of kimchi, pickled vegetables, and other delights, each one bursting with flavor and texture.

If you’re in the mood for something hearty and filling, the bibimbap is a must-try. This traditional dish, a rice bowl topped with a colorful array of sautéed vegetables, a fried egg, and your choice of protein, is a great way to experience the richness of Korean flavors. Koshi's version is well-balanced, with the right amount of spice and a savory depth of flavor that comes from their perfectly seasoned ingredients.

For those who prefer lighter options, the kimchi jjigae (kimchi stew) is a standout. Packed with bold flavors from the fermented kimchi, this stew is both comforting and satisfying. The balance of spicy, sour, and savory elements makes it the perfect dish to warm you up, especially during the colder months. Koshi’s take on this classic Korean comfort food highlights their attention to detail and passion for serving authentic flavors in every dish.

Not to be overlooked are the drinks and desserts. Koshi serves up some delightful traditional beverages, such as makgeolli (Korean rice wine), which perfectly complements the spicy and savory dishes. If you’re in the mood for something sweet to round off your meal, their patbingsu (shaved ice with sweet red beans and toppings) is a refreshing and satisfying treat, especially during the warmer months.

As for the ambiance, Koshi combines the warmth of a diner with the authenticity of a Korean eatery. The simple yet stylish interior creates a relaxed atmosphere where diners can enjoy their meal in comfort. Whether you're grabbing a quick lunch or enjoying a leisurely dinner with friends and family, the setting feels like the perfect backdrop to savor a delicious, well-crafted meal.

What truly sets Koshi apart, though, is the service. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about the food they serve. • Got food for to go and it was pretty good. I ordered spicy pork and Korean Fried Chicken. Both dishes were different from what I used to have. Spicy pork tent to be a liiiiittle bit sour than it should, I get used to salty/sweet/spicy more than spicy~sour. For the chicken I would say it was good but more like General Tso than KFC I had before, the sauce was nice, the crisp was perfect! It also came with Tteok bokk Ki! And good for the next day meal as well :D The service was good, the gentleman who work at the front explained everything so well and it was quick. Next time will try their Kimbab and see how different they can be from another Korean restaurant!

  • Favorite Korean spot in Columbus!!! I’ve tried a lot of different menu items, always delicious, hot, and fresh. The staff is so helpful upbeat and kind. Great atmosphere as well. I love the cartoons they’re always playing, it’s nostalgic. Favorite dishes: the hot honey garlic chicken, hot stone bulgogi, and kimchi stew. Just don’t burn your mouth!

  • Had lunch here after grocery shopping next door at Dayou. Gotta say, always convenient to have a small plaza of quick dine-in restaurants connected to a market to go to after shopping. We ordered the Original Red Tteok-Bokki, Pork Cutlet, Beef Sundubu, and a Traditional Kimbap. The rice cake noodles, tofu, and egg in spicy sauce of the Tteok-Bok-Ki matched perfectly. The Pork Cutlet had that crunch coating which made it absolutely splendid. The Beef Sundubu was nostalgic with other Korean restaurants we tried in the past. And lastly, the Traditional Kimbap was a surprise as how light it was which made everything taste perfectly balanced with the spice and cold served Kimbap. All in all, I loved everything we ordered and am definitely willing to return to Koshi. Most likely will order their Ramyeon next time. Recommend for any shoppers at Dayou or within the area. Also, I recommend it if you can handle the spicy.

  • Went here today to have lunch with a friend and also buy something at the grocery.. and wow, this place is perfect for our pallet best kfood we found.. service was so fast and the atmosphere was nice.. I know it's inside saraga, but they maintain the restaurant decent. Would love to go back for more.. food is so freshly made, and you can taste the love on it. Giving 5 star because my friend and I loved it. Highly recommended.

  • It was my first time going and it was AMAZING no joke! The level of spice it fantastic! Not bland AT ALL. You’re definitely in for a treat! I tried the Kimchi fried rice, the tteokbokki and the dal-jeong chicken! Definitely recommend and will be going back! The one thing I do wish they carried is the Korean lemonade pouches! That would definitely be a nice compliment to some dishes!
